4. Best Actress, win, for the movie On Golden Pond in 54th Academy Awards.

Besides her remarkable career in acting she is filled with lots of Qualities like she oten wore slacks instead of dresses, decades before it became fashionable for women to do so. She is outspoken personality.
She Was nominated for two Tony Awards. First in 1970 as Best Actress (Musical), for playing the title character and second in 1982 as Best Actress (Play), for "The West Side Waltz" but she lost both times.
